Dorothy Wynn 1912 to 2002, she was born and raised around the Buckner and Levasy Missouri area. Mom spent her entire life trying to help the community and town right to the end. She had just ran for Mayor of Levasy only a few months before she died. I was so afraid she was going to get elected. I was trying to get her to come out here to Nevada so I could take care of her, like she had done for me. Why Bone Hill, well I grew up there ! I have a vast collection of stories and photo's from here. I am dedicating this page to my Mother who just pasted away in April 2002. I made probably my last visit to this town and I wanted to to make record of it. Bone Hill has many legends of which only two are popular. See Legends |

Bone Hill is a mile and half south of Levasy on Hiway H. It goes back to the Indian days prior to the civil war. Stories of the civil war battles that took place there are many. | ![]() |
| The old rock wall is the subject of most stories. The cemetery has two part, an old civil war section plus the new addition. Here is the new Monument they built. |

This is a photo of the old part, they say there is many graves unmarked still back in the timber behind. Even though most of my family is buried in Buckner, I still remember a lot of these people I grew up knowing. | ![]() |
| This is my Aunt Viola, she was Uncle Carls last wife. Uncle Carl is buried in Frederick Okla. They were living here in Levasy when I was growing up. |
