Ely Historic & Railroad Museums

While we were on our week long summer trip we stopped by in Ely to check out the Museums. They have the White Pine Public Museum and the Railroad Museum. I got a few photos while at each. The Railroad Museum was not open when we were there but we'll make another trip when it's open to get more photos. This is where the Ghost train runs out of.

Here is a couple of photos taken at the White Pine Public Museum. First was a photo of early natives. The second photo was of a Steam powered Drilling rig just like the one at the Chief Mine. If you look in the back ground you will see the Cherry Creek Depot, here is where they moved it to.

On the left is a Nevada Northern Baggage Car and the right is the back side of the Depot.
