Around 1906 a copper strike was promoted by to list a few, Pasty Clark and Charles Schwab. This was based on
a few low grade ore samples of green copper ore in the area. The great stock promotions and speculations of getting rich lead to thousands

The mining operator offered a quarter of a billion dollars worth of stock to the public. A lot of them never
even made reference to a mine, just the name alone (Greenwater) was all it took.
|
Greenwater was moved down the hill from it's earlier site which was named Kunze. It will take 4wd to reach Kunze where all that is left is some rock ruins and a lot glass debri along with the useal can piles. See Kunze townsite ![]()
