Brian and I got together and found we had a common interest in Ghost Towns so we planned a three-day weekend trip together to find out if we could put up with each other camping together. We headed north through Alamo and across country to Logan and then Cresent City where we spent the night.
The following morning we headed out for Tempiute going by way of Rachel in the lonely alien valley. Tempiute was a bummer, there is a mine setting
right on it and we were fenced out so we could not get any pictures. So we moved on to Reveille Range to find Reveille Mill and then on to New Reveille
for the night. The next morning we headed toward home back tracking, but we had time to stop by Delamar in Lincoln County before returning home.

Our last outing we had great weather, so we thought we try it again for a week this time. We headed out to Alamo again then up to Warm
Spring to head south down to Golden Arrow and finally over to Silverbow on the Area 51 border, some 31 mile across nowhere to camp, It rained that night on us.
The next morning we were off again this time headed in the direction of Belmont (Nye County) then east to Barley Creek for the night and fishing. I froze to
the tent that night, it was cold. Up early the next morning and off to Manhattan and down into the Big Smoky Valley. Our next stop was to be Ophir, which I
really enjoyed; it has a nice creek running down the canyon. I know we crossed it many times going up. After Ophir we made to trip up to Kingston and then over
to Austin for the night. We had trouble picking up the World Series so we tried a motel for the night, didn't help. The last leg of our trip led us to Ione, Berlin,
Grantsville, Gabbs and Pactolus before heading home that day. I had a great week even though it was cold. ( Total trip 1200 miles )

Brian, my wife Brenda and myself spent the Saturday going South this time down to Cresent (Clark County) and over to Juan on the southern Nevada border. Juan was interesting and a little hard to find.

Another sunny Saturday the threesome headed out for Gold Point (Esmeralda County), after that we drove around Slate Ridge to Stateline
then up to Oriental (Old Camp). Right we left Oriental we found the Wonder Mine, it had a good mine shaft so we checked it out. I got some good video out
of that one. Then we went in search of Tokop. Some where in the valley we took a wrong turn, we didn't find Tokop but we did find the Silver Moon Mine.
It made for some good pictures. We saved Tokop for another day and headed home.
